McGuire to Skip Speedweeks 2010 in Florida... - January 26, 2010

Josh McGuire Racing (JMR) has announced today that they will not be attending any part of "Speedweeks 2010" in Florida. Josh McGuire, who is usually a fixture at the East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida, will forego East Bay and Volusia this year due to the lack of a racecar transporter. After skipping "Speedweeks 2010," the #41 team plans to tentatively open up their season on March 20 with the $5,000 to win 'Spring 50' at the Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky. Josh McGuire and his #41 Dirt Late Model team traveled to the refurbished Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana over the October 17-18 weekend for the 29th Annual 'Dirt Track World Championship.' A stout 71 car field converged on Lawrenceburg for the DTWC weekend, as the drivers all had their sights set on the hefty $50,000 payday. Unfortunately, Josh could not find his way into the 100-lap main event after hitting the wall during qualifying and finishing seventh in both his heat race and his B-Main. McGuire Pockets $7,500 for Weekend Sweep of Skyline! - October 12, 2009

The Josh McGuire Racing (JMR) team had their best weekend of the 2009 racing season on October 10-11, as they swept both events held at the Skyline Speedway in Stewart, Ohio! On Saturday night, Josh McGuire laid down the fastest lap during qualifying, won his heat race, and took home the $1,500 top prize in the unsanctioned main event. When the #41 team returned to Skyline on Sunday, they were looking for their second straight 'Harvest 50' title.

After a heat race triumph on Sunday, Josh was part of a great three-car battle up front during the 50-lap 'Harvest 50.' The Grayson, Kentucky driver led the final fourteen circuits after fierce battles with both Steve Shaver and Rob Blair for the top spot. Josh laid claim to the $5,000 winner's check and an additional $1,000 bonus for the weekend sweep by defeating Rob Blair, Zack Dohm, Freddie Carpenter, and Jason Montgomery. Josh McGuire Sets Fast Time at K-C; Winds Up Twenty-Second... - October 5, 2009

Josh McGuire and his #41 Dirt Late Model team ventured north to the K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, Ohio over the October 2-3 weekend for the inaugural running of the 'World Cup Classic.' The O'Reilly All Star Late Model Series (ASLMS) sanctioned the star-studded event, which boasted a hefty $20,000 top prize. Josh started out the weekend on a high note, as he paced the stout field during qualifying on Friday to earn fast time honors and later ran second in his heat race.

After starting seventh on the grid in the 100-lap 'World Cup Classic' feature event on Saturday evening, Josh was running in the twelfth position when his race ended on the 43rd circuit. The Grayson, Kentucky driver was relegated to a disappointing twenty-second place performance following the conclusion of the 'World Cup Classic.' McGuire Leads Early in 'Jackson 100;' Finishes Seventeenth - September 28, 2009

The Josh McGuire Racing (JMR) team invaded the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana last weekend for the 30th Annual 'Jackson 100.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series once again sanctioned the historic race, which was plagued by Mother Nature throughout the weekend. Due to the inclement weather, much of the racing program was pushed back until Sunday afternoon, September 27.

Josh McGuire qualified well and later won his competitive heat race. After starting third on the grid in the $12,000 to win 'Jackson 100,' Josh helped put on a great show in front of the huge crowd and the SPEED Channel cameras. He led laps 4-5 and laps 10-16, but stayed in contention throughout much of the 100-lap race. Unfortunately, Josh's #41 C.J. Rayburn entry suffered terminal mechanical problems on lap 71, which forced him to retire in the seventeenth position. You can view complete results from the wet and wild Brownstown weekend by visiting www.lucasdirt.com.
