(ASHLAND, KENTUCKY) Josh McGuire and his #41 team traveled to the Dirt Track at the Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina from November 1-3 for the inaugural running of the 'Outlaws World Finals.' Josh timed in thirty-seventh quickest in the first round of World of Outlaws Late Model Series qualifying on Thursday evening, November 1 and forty-sixth fastest in the second round of time trials.
Unfortunately for the Ashland, Kentucky pilot, an engine problem while running fourth in his heat race on Friday night, November 2 ended his weekend prematurely. Therefore, he was not able to transfer into either $10,000 to win feature event, including the 50-lapper on Saturday, which was run in front of a live SPEED Channel audience and a standing-room only crowd. You can view complete results from the weekend at the Charlotte area venue online at www.worldofoutlaws.com!
The Josh McGuire Racing team has a single race on their upcoming weekend schedule. They are set to travel to the Skyline Speedway in Stewart, Ohio on Saturday night, November 10 for the $1,500 to win 'Foothills Fury.' Josh has reached victory lane at Skyline on three different occasions in 2007, including a win as recent as September 29. You can view more information on this show online at www.skylinespeedway.net.
