(ASHLAND, KENTUCKY) Josh McGuire, of Ashland, Kentucky, picked up his seventh feature victory of the 2007 racing season on Saturday night, August 4 at the 201 Speedway in Sitka, Kentucky! Josh, who was behind the wheel of his #41 Rayburn machine, qualified well and later won his heat race to advance to the $5,000 to win feature event. The driver quickly becoming known as "Bad Fast" later led all forty laps of the 'Walker Prater Pops 40' to record the $5,000 payday ahead of Tim Dohm, Eddie Carrier, Jr., Terry Hicks, and Brandon Kinzer!

"The night at 201 could not have gone any better for us," stated McGuire this week. "Our car ran great in the heat race and that set us up for a possible win in the feature. We, as a team, wore down a little bit at the end of the Southern Nationals, but now we are reenergized for the rest of the season. I have to thank all of my sponsors, my family, and my crew for their help and dedication to the race team. Everyone has worked really hard this year and our success has been a total team effort!"

Josh and his #41 team will now set their sights on the 25th Annual 'North/South 100' at the Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky. The unsanctioned mega-event will be held this weekend at the King Family's 1/2-mile, high-banked oval. Qualifying will take place on Friday evening, August 10, while heat races, consolation events, and the 100-lap, $50,000 to win A-Main are scheduled for Saturday night, August 11.
