(ASHLAND, KENTUCKY) Josh McGuire and his #41 team had an ultra-busy Memorial Day holiday weekend, as they competed in five races in five days from Friday, May 25- Tuesday, May 29. Josh kicked off his weekend schedule with a bang last Friday night at the Skyline Speedway in Stewart, Ohio, as he captured his biggest win of the 2007 racing season. After winning his B-Main event, the Ashland, Kentucky native rolled off from the outside of the eighth row for the $5,000 to win Mid-Atlantic Championship Series (MACS) feature event. During the course of the 50-lap race, Josh was able to battle his way up front, eventually taking the lead from Rick Aukland for good on the final circuit.

In all, Josh registered one victory, three Top Five finishes, and four Top Ten performances during the five race stretch. The final three events of his extended weekend were O'Reilly Battle of the Bluegrass "Kentucky Speedweek" shows and his efforts in those races have landed him the second spot in the current point standings for the mini-series. May 29 | Richmond (KY) Raceway, BoB | $3,000 to win
The Richmond Raceway in Richmond, Kentucky played host to round three of "Kentucky Speedweek" tonight and another $3,000 top prize was up for grabs! Josh set fast time this evening during qualifying, as he toured the Richmond oval in 15.384 seconds. He then went on to win his heat race prior to running a solid second to Greg Johnson in the 30-lap A-Main. Josh is now second in the "Kentucky Speedweek" point standings heading into round four on Thursday night, May 31 at the Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, Kentucky!

May 28 | Bluegrass (KY) Speedway, BoB | $3,000 to win
Round two of "Kentucky Speedweek" was held tonight at the Bluegrass Speedway in Bardstown, Kentucky. Josh ran third in his competitive heat race prior to running fourteenth in the 30-lap, $3,000 to win A-Main. The action will continue on May 29 at the Richmond Raceway in Richmond, Kentucky with another "Kentucky Speedweek" event!

May 27 | Portsmouth (OH) Raceway Park, BoB | $3,000 to win
Josh was back in action at PRP tonight, as the grueling "Kentucky Speedweek" mini-series kicked off. He finished second in his heat race to earn a spot towards the front for the start of the main event. After thirty green flag racing laps, Josh was credited with a strong fifth place effort behind winner Audie Swartz, Eddie Carrier, Jr., Jackie Boggs, and Delmas Conley.

May 26 | Portsmouth (OH) Raceway Park, MACS | $5,000 to win
Following the big win at Skyline, the action turned to the Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio tonight for another $5,000 to win MACS event. Josh finished second in his heat race prior to running fourth in the dash. After rolling off from the outside of the second row, Josh was credited with a solid eighth place performance at the end of the A-Main.

May 25 | Skyline (OH) Speedway, MACS | $5,000 to win
JOSH HAS 5,000 REASONS TO SMILE AT SKYLINE!!!
Josh picked up his biggest win of the 2007 racing season tonight, as he claimed the $5,000 top prize at the Skyline Speedway in Stewart, Ohio! The Ashland, Kentucky native won his B-Main to gain access into the feature event and started the A-Main from the outside of the eighth row. Josh had his #41 Rayburn machine hooked up during the 50-lap race, as he found his way to the front and passed race leader Rick Aukland late in the event to bring home the victory. He was able to beat Aukland, Dave Hess, Robbie Blair, and Rod Conley to the finish line en route to his third A-Main victory of the season!

The Josh McGuire Racing team will conclude the "Kentucky Speedweek" schedule this weekend with a trio of exciting Dirt Late Model events. The Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, Kentucky will play host to a $3,000 to win event tonight, May 31, while the Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky will do the same on Friday night, June 1. The six-race mini-series will conclude on Saturday, June 2 with the annual running of the $10,000 to win 'Ralph Latham Memorial.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will sanction the 50-lap event, which will be taped by the cameras of the SPEED Channel for viewing later in the year.
