(ASHLAND, KENTUCKY) In the weeks following "Speedweeks 2007," Josh McGuire and car owner Tim Hall have had much discussion about their racing future. After going back and forth on the different options, a decision was finally made recently to part ways. Tim has decided to pursue other business ventures, while Josh will go back to owning his own race team. The Ashland, Kentucky native has added several new sponsors this week, which will all play a key role in Josh's future success.

In addition to Expert Glass & Door stepping up to be a key supporter of Josh McGuire Racing, GCP Race Engines, Glenny Glass (Cincinnati, Ohio), Long Architectural Sales (Cincinnati, Ohio), and City Window Construction (Clarksburg, West Virginia) have all come on board as sponsors this week. C.J. Rayburn Race Cars, Hoosier Tires, Poske's Performance Parts, Baby Cat Trucking, Summit RV, DJ's Kitchen Corner, Ashland Specialty, McGuire Speed Shop, SHY Racing Suspension, and Impact Racing Decals have all remained with the #41 team as valuable supporters.

"Rumors have a tendency to get started, just as they have all over the Internet and I want to make it clear that this was a joint decision that was in the best interest of both Tim (Hall) and myself," stated McGuire recently. "Tim has helped me so much over the last year and a half and I could never repay him for his dedication to helping me grow as a driver. The opportunity to drive for him was a privilege and I gained skills, experience, and knowledge that I would not have been able to do on my own. So for that, I am grateful and want people to be aware that I have the utmost respect for Tim."

"I have owned my own race team prior to Tim's ownership and I hope that we will be able to quickly rebuild what we once had, even if it means operating on a smaller scale for a little while," Josh went on to say. "I have to thank Expert Glass & Door for really stepping up to support me and my racing endeavors. They have brought some new sponsors on board recently that will really help our new program. I am also happy to be realigned with GCP Race Engines, as I think they build a strong, reliable motor. It is my hope that we don't have to skip a beat!"

The Josh McGuire Racing team is currently shooting for an early-April return to the Dirt Late Model scene. Josh hopes to get a couple of races under his belt before tackling the Second Annual 'Colossal 100' at the Dirt Track at the Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina on April 20-21. When those dates are confirmed, they will be posted immediately at www.joshmcguireracing.com!
