(ASHLAND, KENTUCKY) Josh McGuire and the Josh McGuire Racing team will kick off their 2007 campaign next week at the ultra-racy East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will sanction all six events at the track deemed as the "Clay by the Bay," starting Monday, February 5. Three $5,000 to win shows will highlight the action the first three nights at the Tampa area venue, while $7,000, $10,000, and $12,000 paydays are up for grabs respectively during the final three events of this year's 'Winternationals' program. The Ashland, Kentucky native will cap off his version of "Speedweeks 2007" at the Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida. The Daytona Beach area oval will host six more nights of Dirt Late Model racing action from February 12-17. Three $5,000 to win shows and a trio of $10,000 to win events highlight the week at VSP. Both UMP Dirtcar Racing and the 360 OTC World of Outlaws Late Model Series will sanction events during the week at Volusia. The #41 team enjoyed quite a bit of success in 2006, as Josh reached victory lane on seven different occasions. In addition to his wins, the young Commonwealth driver also posted nineteen Top Five finishes and twenty-five Top Ten efforts. His biggest win came at the Skyline Speedway in Stewart, Ohio when Josh won the $5,000 to win 'Harvest 50.' Another highlight of the 2006 racing season was when he earned a coveted starting spot for the $50,000 to win 'Dirt Track World Championship' at the K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, Ohio.
